La Petit France is somewhat illuminated. You may have much better views since it's mid-December and it will have Christmas lights and decorations. But once you are away from the main area it's all dark. If you are there more than a day, I would recommend walking around and checking out the lighting situation before taking the tour.
Do you recommend booking in advance? I’ll be visiting in June and would prefer to pick a day based on the weather rather that book ahead, but wonder if I’ll be able to get tickets.
