A new leak related to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 claims Samsung will upgrade the main camera, bringing it closer to the S25 Ultra.

That wish may be granted with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, according to the Dutch site Galaxy Club. It reports that the new foldable will get the same 200MP sensor as used on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which should make a huge difference in terms of image quality, giving it the edge over folding rivals like the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold and OnePlus Open.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could gain a camera hardware feature seen on older Galaxy devices and rival flagships.

According to a reliable Samsung tipster, IceUniverse on Weibo, Samsung may bring back the variable aperture in its camera in its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra flagship smartphone. This was last seen in the Galaxy S9 and S10 series.

Variable aperture is rumored to make an first appearance on a Samsung Galaxy phone later this year, for the first time since 2019.
