Yankees manager Aaron Boone says he doesn’t want his players to behave in the same manner as some Dodgers players did after L.A. beat N.Y. in the World Series.

Steinbrenner mentioned during a recent interview on the YES Network that he was open to extending Boone, whose one-year option for this season was picked up in November. General manager Brian Cashman disclosed Friday afternoon that something could get done in that regard before the end of spring training.

But to be fair to the Dodgers, the Yankees did have dreadful base running in the series. It’s not classless to point that out. Plus, the Dodgers didn’t do anything in the actual series that would be perceived as poor form. That designation, though, belonged to a couple Yankees fans. Look at those guys before talking about class.
