Andrew Benintendi and Luis Robert Jr. hit tape-measure home runs Friday to help the Chicago White Sox snap an eight-game skid with a 7-1 win against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Blue Jays starter Spencer Turnbull had a tough time keeping the White Sox off the board. Andrew Benintendi, the second batter of the game, launched his eighth homer of the season with a 425-footer. Benintendi turned on an 89 mph fastball that caught too much of the plate, and he got every bit of it.

Luis Robert Jr. hit a two-run home run, Tyler Alexander pitched four scoreless relief innings and the visiting Chicago White Sox defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 7-1 on Friday night.
