Manel Kape wants his title shot now. Kape made a strong case for why he should challenge flyweight champion Joshua Van, knocking out Brandon Royval with relative ease in their UFC Fight Night main event.

In a 5-round flyweight bout in the main event, Brandon Royval and Manel Kape meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 73 -- also known as UFC Vegas 112 -- at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It could be argued that Kape has solved the issue on his current three-fight win streak, a trio of knockouts over an increasingly good level of competition.
