South Carolina health officials on Friday confirmed an additional 15 new cases of measles since Tuesday, as the widening outbreak of the vaccine-preventable disease in the northwest part of the state has infected 126 people so far.
Across the country, there have been more than 1,900 measles cases this year, according to new numbers released by the CDC. Meanwhile in South Carolina, health officials report more than two dozen new cases across the state since Friday.
