A former Los Angeles Chargers first-round pick has gone from the cutting board to getting traded as free agency starts. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, linebacker Kenneth Murray got traded from the Tennessee Titans to the Dallas Cowboys this week at the mere cost of a late-round pick swap.

The Cowboys signed Sanborn to a one-year deal Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. The 24-year-old linebacker from Wisconsin will reunite with Cowboys defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, who served as the Bears' head coach for most of Sanborn's three-year tenure in Chicago.

The Dallas Cowboys haven't made the significant changes fans have hoped for early on in free agency. They still haven't added an outside free agent making over $6 million a season since Greg Hardy, but Dallas is adding players for depth on the roster.
