A Fort Worth man led police on a dangerous chase after telling a friend he "blacked out" and thinks he "harmed his roommate," according to a newly released affidavit. His girlfriend was later found dead.

A man who led police on a chase Monday is in custody after they say he told an acquaintance he thought he'd harmed his female roommate. The woman, police said, was later found deceased in their shared Fort Worth apartment.

The 29-year-old man ran red lights and drove on the wrong side of the road while leading police on a chase in the victim’s SUV, according to a warrant.
