Army personnel began removing "Fort Cavazos" from signage at the massive armored infantry post in Central Texas.

The signage of the Bernie Beck Gate has once again changed as the former name of the Texas Army base in Killeen was reinstated. Fort Hood (formerly Fort Cavazos) was renamed for the second time in two years in honor of Colonel Robert B.

The order by President Trump to change seven military bases back to their original names was effective June 11, but one more thing must happen first.
