Former Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) chief Luis Rubiales has been found guilty of sexually assaulting Women’s World Cup winner Jennifer Hermoso by kissing her on the lips during the on-field medal ceremony following Spain’s victory in 2023.

Luis Rubiales has been found guilty of sexual assault of stemming from his nonconsensual kiss on the lips of footballer Jenni Hermoso at the 2023 World Cup Final.

Former Royal Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales has been found guilty of kissing player Jennifer Hermoso without her consent. The former La Liga defender was also one of UEFA's vice-presidents before resigning in September 2023, following the scandal with Hermoso.
