The family of Keith McAllister, who who died after being sucked into an MRI machine on Long Island last week, is sharing new heartbreaking details about what happened.

A 61-year-old man died after being pulled into an active MRI machine while wearing a heavy metal chain at a clinic in New York.

The man, 61, had entered an MRI room while a scan was underway Wednesday afternoon at Nassau Open MRI. The machine’s strong magnetic force drew him in by the metallic chain around his neck, according to a release from the Nassau County Police Department.
