All-NBA Los Angeles Lakers combo forward LeBron James' first playoff run with five-time All-NBA First Team L.A. guard Luka Doncic ended in near-disaster this spring, as the 50-32 Lakers fell in just five games to the lower-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves.

Former Lakers guard and five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher said the team needs to do one thing to win it all with LeBron James and Luka Doncic.

“However, there isn’t an incentive for the Lakers to do that since it would be nearly impossible to replace James’ production. That would also place a troublesome burden on former Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic, who needs an additional playmaker alongside him,” they wrote.
