At age 37, Matthew Stafford could win his first MVP award and maybe even another Super Bowl, which would cement his Hall of Fame case.
Stafford has never seemed too interested in personal accolades, but he will be 38 when the 2025 season is over. It's unclear if Stafford is thinking about retirement, but he recently said he would "entertain" coming back in 2026 if he's still healthy.
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is in the middle of one of the best seasons of his 17-year NFL career. He leads the league with 35 passing touchdowns while throwing for 3,354 yards and just four interceptions. And to boot, the Rams are sitting at the top of the NFC with a 10-3 record with just four games left in he regular season.
He may not be as good as he once was, but Matthew Stafford is still proving to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL despite him nearing 40 years of age.
