The Milwaukee Brewers have placed All-Star pitcher Jacob Misiorowski on the 15-day injured list with a left tibia contusion. The rookie was scheduled to start for the Brewers on Sunday against the Washington Nationals. Logan Henderson was called up from Triple-A Nashville to pitch in his place.

Through five major league outings, the Milwaukee Brewers‘ Jacob Misiorowski was running away with NL Rookie of the Year. He’d just outdueled Clayton Kershaw in a 12-strikeout masterpiece and been selected for the All-Star Game.
