In January, Dave Grohl, Krist Novolselic and Pat Smear were joined by Joan Jett, St. Vincent, Kim Gordon and Grohl’s daughter Violet at the FireAid show in Inglewood, California, and now they've repeated the trick with Post Malone.

They were introduced by Adam Sandler, and they went on to play “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Watch footage of that below.

The surviving members of Nirvana once again reunited — this time with Post Malone — at the all-star Saturday Night Live 50 concert Friday at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

This past Friday (Feb. 14), Saturday Night Live celebrated its 50th anniversary with the aptly titled SNL50: The Homecoming Concert. Easily one of the most electrifying moments came when Post Malone joining the surviving members of Nirvana for a special rendition of “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” and expectedly, fans had mixed reactions.

With Malone subbing in for Kurt Cobain, the band — a.k.a. Post Nirvana — played the classic 34 years after making their "Saturday Night Live" debut with it.
