Hashim Musa, the Pakistani terrorist behind the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people, was once a para commando in Pakistan’s special forces, says a report.

The United States on Monday said it is closely monitoring rising tensions between India and Pakistan in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack and called upon the two neighbours to pursue a “responsible resolution” to the crisis.

India has halted all trade with Pakistan in response to Pahalgam terror attack. The move has escalated tensions between the two countries. India has closed the Attari-Wagah border and the decision is expected to put on hold the cross-border trade of Rs 3886.
