The Indianapolis Colts contacted former quarterback Sam Ehlinger's representation before signing veteran Philip Rivers on Wednesday, according to Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post.

The 44-year-old practiced with the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday as they prepare to play the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
