Weather in metro Phoenix this week will start off warm, but many on spring break should prepare for possible rain with two separate storm systems expected to move into the Valley.

Rain has arrived in the Valley and it's expected to stay a while. Forecasters say the storm has started Tuesday night, but it will intensify through Thursday and likely Friday.

The weather service confirmed Phoenix's forecast, which was expected to be around 68 degrees, breezy with a chance of showers. The low for Thursday evening was forecast to be around 49 degrees with partly cloudy skies and likely showers. There was a 60% chance of rain in the forecast for Thursday night with a chance of winds reaching 20 mph.
