Heading into the Big 12 tournament, TCU had lost four of their last five regular season games. They stumbled to the No. 9 seed and came up short against the 16th seed Colorado Buffaloes 69-67.

Less than a month later, TCU went one-and-done in the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, falling 69-67 to No. 16 seed Colorado on Tuesday.

Tournament MVP Hailey Van Lith had 20 points, including a key bucket with 48.8 seconds left to give TCU a four-point lead, as top-seeded TCU beat No. 2 seed Baylor 64-59 to win the program’s first Big 12 Championship.
