JT Toppin had 21 points to lead No. 10 Texas Tech to a 78-73 win over Kansas. It was the second win at Allen Fieldhouse in the school’s history.

It's the third time Kansas has lost at home this season, which hasn't happened since 1988-89, but another KU disappointing effort isn't the story.
