The Thai prime minister says his country will halt all actions it agreed to take under the terms of a U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal with Cambodia.
Washington had earlier moved to halt trade negotiations pending Thai compliance over the peace declaration with Cambodia signed last month.
The outcome exposes the limits of using economic pressure to bring about a resolution of the border dispute between the two nations.
According to Cambodian defence insiders, credible Thai sources suggest that further attacks from Thailand are imminent. The threats coincide with an increase in Thai military chatter, since it declared the suspension of the US-brokered October 26 Peace Agreement.
The two men are believed to be part of a group of 27 Singaporeans and seven Malaysians wanted by the police for their involvement in government official impersonation scams targeting Singapore victims.
Thailand said tariff talks with the US will continue following a phone call between their leaders, despite Washington’s earlier move to halt negotiations pending Thai compliance over a peace declaration with Cambodia.

Thailand and Cambodia remain committed to finding a peaceful resolution to their border conflict, while Malaysia remains ready to facilitate talks between the two countries, said Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday (Nov 13).
