Mint Mobile now offers truly unlimited data plans without the previous caps. There may still be limitations like data throttling after reaching a certain usage. Existing Mint Mobile plans will be automatically upgraded to include this enhancement.

Mint Mobile announced today that its unlimited plan, which was a classic “unlimited” in the sense that it wasn’t actually unlimited, is now unlimited. In other words, they used to have data caps on their supposedly-unlimited plan,

Networks will say they have unlimited data, but then limit it when you use too much. Good thing that doesn't apply to Mint anymore.

It seems Mint Mobile is about to ditch its data cap. That means you'll soon be able to use more than 40GB of data.
