Blake Snell was a late scratch from his scheduled start for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, less than a week after the two-time Cy Young Award winner made his season debut.
Dodgers starting pitcher was originally scheduled to play on Friday vs. the Angels, but was a late scratch before the start of the game.
The Los Angeles Dodgers had injury issues with their starting rotation last season, and it appears those problems will carry over to the 2026 campaign. Blake Snell admitted that the slow ramp-up could delay his efforts to be ready for Opening Day.
