In a win over the No. 1 UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans star JuJu Watkins made history in college basketball, recording a statline that no men's or women's player has registered this century, including former Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark.

USC beat the No. 1-ranked UCLA, 71-60, behind Watkins' historic outing on Thursday. The 19-year-old guard finished with 38 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, eight blocks and one steal, becoming the first DI player in the last 20 seasons to have at least 35 points, five assists and five blocks in a game.

The Bruins would have a stranglehold on the No. 1 overall seed while the other three No. 1 seeds would be fairly simple: the obvious (South Carolina), the surging (Texas) and the steady (Notre Dame).
