Two teens have been charged in connection to the shooting death of a Dupo, Illinois, man. Bryce Rhodes, 18, of Festus, Missouri, has been charged with unlawful sale of firearms, possession of a firearm while being ineligible and obstructing justice.

Three teenagers has been charged in connection to the shooting death of a Dupo, Illinois man Cody Rhodes earlier in the week. One of the teens is being tried as an adult.

Todd Kingston, 16, with a last known address in the 500 block of South Tedda Court, in Nixa, Missouri, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder/forcible felony/armed violence in the shooting death of 36-year-old Cody Rhodes in Dupo, according to information from charging documents and authorities.

Charges have been filed against two teenagers in relation to the murder of a Dupo, Illinois, man earlier this week.

Investigators said the shooting happened during a gun sale where the suspects attempted to pay with counterfeit money.

An unnamed 15-year-old has also been charged, police announced Friday. The incident occurred in a quiet residential area Monday, leaving Cody dead and another individual injured. Bryce allegedly sold the handgun used in the shooting to Todd and then hid the gun in a backpack following the murder.
