Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart isn't all that concerned that he's not running his program like others do in modern times.

The fact Smart and Bobo are close is brought up often. They were college teammates, and Bobo’s son Drew (now Georgia’s center) was the ring-bearer at Smart’s wedding. But while they weren’t quite as close, Smart was tight with James Coley and made the move to oust him as the offensive coordinator after the 2019 season.

Kirby Smart is known for his no-nonsense approach, and on Tuesday, he made it clear what he expects from his Georgia Bulldogs as they prepare for the 2025 season. Speaking to the media, Smart delivered a blunt message aimed at motivating his players this spring.

While other college football programs are hiring general managers to handle the new workload, Georgia is sticking with its current personnel.
