The Cleveland Cavaliers looked like a straight-up problem throughout the 2024–25 season. They tore through the league with a 64–18 record, playing confident, connected basketball on both ends of the floor.

LeBron James says his peak came not with the Lakers or Heat but with the Cavaliers in 2017–18, calling it his most complete season in Year 23.

According to the study, the Cavaliers are the most-hated team in 18 states. The Los Angeles Lakers finished closely, as the most-hated organization in 13 states. The Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets finished tied for third with three different states hating each team the most.

The Lakers pursued a trade for Miami Heat's Andrew Wiggins this past offseason, and will reportedly do the same ahead of the Feb. 5 deadline.
