NASA has delayed astronauts’ upcoming trip to the moon because of near-freezing temperatures expected at the launch site.

As early as Sunday, Feb. 8, the rocket could provide the initial burst of thrust to propel the crew of Artemis 2 into space on the first human lunar spaceflight in more than 50 years.

Artemis II will instead carry four astronauts – Christina Koch, Jeremy Hansen, Victor Glover, and Reid Wiseman – on a 10-day mission flying around the moon.
