Green Bay Packers re-sign kicker
The Green Bay Packers announced on Friday that the team has re-signed kicker Lucas Havrisik to the team’s practice squad. The Packers waived Havrisik earlier this week to make room for bringing up receiver Will Sheppard to the 53-man roster ahead of the Detroit Lions game on Thanksgiving.
Simmons was a versatile college star at Clemson. The Arizona Cardinals drafted him with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft with hopes of him being a hybrid linebacker/safety who could do anything on defense. He played fine in the desert but never developed into the star they hoped for.
