Rob Reiner began and ended his career with the 'Spinal Tap' films, making the funniest, most emotionally honest movies about pop music in the process.

According to an October press release, Reiner shot the concert film at the prehistoric site in England. It’s a follow-up to the 1984 mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap — Reiner’s directorial debut which he also cowrote and costared in — about a fictional rock band’s reunion. In the years after its release, the film became an often-quoted cult hit.

Reiner returned to Stephen King for inspiration for his 1990 movie Misery, adapting the author’s 1987 novel of the same name. Misery starred James Caan as a famous writer who is held captive by a crazed fan played by an incredible Kathy Bates, a performance that would win her a well-deserved Academy Award for best actress.
