Rail Baltic Estonia has announced plans to build a rolling stock depot in Rae municipality, Harju County by 2028.

Rolling stock maintenance specialist EuCo Rail opened a component hub at Gersthofen in southern Germany in October last year.

If the procurement procedure proceeds as planned, construction of the rolling stock depot will begin at the end of 2026, and the building will be handed over to Rail Baltic Estonia by the end of 2028.
