Monday’s jackpot was the sixth largest in Powerball history. The record was set in November 2022 when a $2.04 billion prize was won in California.

A Powerball ticket worth a $1 million prize was purchased Saturday in Cheboygan, according to the Michigan Lottery. The Court Street Party Market at 1101 Court Street sold the winning ticket. The winning numbers that matched the five white balls were: 1, 28, 31, 57 and 58.

The Powerball jackpot rose to an estimated $1.1 billion after there were no winners during Saturday’s night drawing. It’s the second largest jackpot this year and the 12th to cross the $1 billion threshold in the past five years.
