'Gulf of America' to start appearing on Google Maps instead of 'Gulf of Mexico'
Google announced that it would be referring to the "Gulf of Mexico" as "Gulf of America" after Trump signed an executive order changing the name. The search engine behemoth says the change follows its practice of changing names of places when they have been updated by official government sources.
