VIDEO: Snowboarder outruns avalanche triggered by human activity
The avalanche, which was triggered by human activity, was captured on a webcam. Initially, the event was difficult to discern from a distance, but as the camera zoomed in, the snowboarder could be seen outrunning the cascading snow. Fortunately, the Mount Washington Observatory reported that no one was injured in the incident.

A camera got the wild moment a snowboarder outraced an avalanche on Mount Washington Tuesday. Video shared by the Mount Washington Observatory shows the snowboarder outpacing the cascade of snow as they head down Tuckerman’s Ravine.
