Daniel Craig is raising a (martini) glass to James Bond’s long-time producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who announced on Thursday their plans to step back from the 007 franchise and cede creative control to Amazon MGM.

Daniel Craig said he hopes to work with Barbara Broccoli again following her and Michael G. Wilson's choice to cede the rights of the James Bond franchise to Amazon. Craig - who wrapped up his stint as 007 back in 2021's "No Time to Die" - released a statement to TheWrap congratulating the two on their work with the franchise and wished them luck in their next move.

Amazon will now control who will play 007, who will write the next script, and when the film goes into production—three critical pieces that had been held up by a yearslong stalemate.
