Spaun both passed him with top-two finishes at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Straka secured a T17 finish continuing a strong 2025 campaign that has elevated his status in the game.

Scheffler, the FedEx Cup points leader, used a final-round 67 to finish in a tie for third with Fleetwood at 15-under. Fleetwood once again missed out on his first PGA Tour title. A bogey on the 17th hole cost him a spot alongside Rose and Spaun in the playoff.
