The nameless gator was captured Thursday night by Kyle Asplundh, a Florida-based crocodile rescuer who was visiting family in New Hope and heard about the four-foot long reptile swimming around Magnolia Lake. Naturally, his Instagram username is @crocodilekyle_6.

Ryan Asplundh, a Bucks County native who now runs the nonprofit Jupiter Alligator & Wildlife Sanctuary in Florida, captured a small alligator in Bristol Township's Magnolia Lake on Thursday night. He plans to transport the reptile to Florida and give it a new home.

After warnings about a gator spotted in a Bucks County lake, a Florida alligator sanctuary owner sprang into action and wrangled the reptile. Now a Florida resident, Kyle Asplundh was in Bucks County visiting family when he decided to drive over to Magnolia Lake in Bristol Township to catch the 3-and-a-half-foot male.
