Justin Sun, the China-born crypto entrepreneur with ties to the Trump family who saw a federal investigation of his business interests paused earlier this year, is set to take his Tron blockchain platform public in the US through a reverse merger.

Crypto billionaire Justin Sun’s Tron group will go public through a reverse merger with a small Nasdaq-listed toy company, the latest move by the Chinese-born tycoon to bring his digital-currency empire to the U.

The company added that it would change its name to Tron Incorporation, with Sun joining as the advisor. Then any gains from the investment will be directed toward establishing a Tron crypto token treasury, following the model popularized by Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin Strategy, now adopted by multiple firms.
