President Donald Trump has moved on several fronts to block Harvard University’s enrollment of international students as his administration presses its demands for a series of policy and governance changes at the Ivy League school.

The decision came after a hearing where a lawyer for Harvard accused the Trump administration of McCarthy-like tactics and irregular and improper treatment.

A federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump administration from revoking Harvard University's ability to enroll international students — but President Trump said Friday he could strike a "deal" to resolve his battles with the Ivy League school within days.
