Reguilon, a 28-year-old free agent, previously played for Tottenham and Real Madrid and will add experience and depth to the left back position after the retirement of the legendary Jordi Alba. He will occupy an international roster spot.

Inter Miami will have one Designated Player spot to fill heading into 2026, a player who counts $743,750 against the MLS salary cap, as long as they stick to their current roster model of three DPs and three U22 Initiative players.
