Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton skipped the voluntary portion of the team's offseason program last spring in protest of his contract. Sutton then reported for mandatory minicamp and the Broncos later restructured his contract, adding up to $1.5 million worth of new incentives.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton is set to enter the final year of his contract in 2025. making him a prime candidate for an extension. GM George Paton said he plans on meeting with Sutton’s representation at the NFL Combine to discuss an extension.

Courtland is one of our guys. Team captain. I have said this for a couple of years in a row. We want him here.”
