Four-star IMG Academy safety recruit Zech Fort has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Fort is Georgia's highest ranked commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle. The Bulldogs still have a very long way to go in the 2026 recruiting cycle, but Fort is a nice edition for the Bulldogs.

Georgia football secured a massive recruiting win over Alabama and even national champion Ohio State on Thursday.

So when it came down to decision day, Georgia emerged as the team for the four-star safety from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy because of how the Bulldogs play football and especially because coach Kirby Smart played the position and knows it as well as anybody.

Zech Fort named Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame and Ohio State as his top six schools. The four-star safety at IMG Academy knew he wanted to commit early in the new year and he has committed to Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.

As head coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs look to improve, they received major news regarding high school recruiting. On Thursday, safety Zech Fort committed to the Bulldogs. "Where Champions are made, Go Dawgs," Fort said.
