The Eagles will be without running back Kenneth Gainwell due to a concussion for the fourth quarter against the Commanders.

But now comes a bit more depth, at least for practice, in the form of a Thursday, signing of second-year man Lew Nicholls III. Nicholls, who will join the practice squad now, had been with the Eagles in training camp.
