Lions head coach Dan Campbell gave an update Monday on the status of cornerback Amik Robertson, who left Sunday’s game against the Rams with a hand injury. Campbell said he is hopeful Robertson can play this week but that the team needs to see how he moves around in practice.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 368 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with star wideout Puka Nacua nine times for 181 yards in the shootout victory. It was another ugly outing for the secondary as the season is officially on life support.

Robertson and Reed are the two players most affected by the loss of Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch, arguably the best safety duo in the league entering 2025. Yet, reserve safety Avonte Maddox has been phenomenal in their absence the last two games, so it’s not really a justifiable explanation for what’s been happening.
