A new NBA rumor suggests the Phoenix Suns will have to lower their asking price if they want to trade Kevin Durant soon. And that is good news for the New York Knicks and Miami Heat. There is no bigger story in the league right now than the future of future Hall of Famer Kevin Durant.

Knicks insider Ian Begley of SNY TV was asked Monday on ESPN New York about how likely it is that Durant gets traded to the Knicks, who have several players such as Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart they could build a package around, but would have to navigate cap restrictions.

Despite long speculation and reporting to the contrary, the Knicks are not in the mix to trade for Kevin Durant, The Post has learned. Durant is expected to be dealt this offseason from the Suns, with ESPN listing the Knicks among five teams that have registered interest.
