A Georgia State Patrol trooper was injured after being struck by a car while on his patrol motorcycle on Wednesday.

Virginia State Police said one person was killed Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash in Augusta County. The crash took place in the 200 block of Folly Mills Station Road shortly before 10 p.m.
