Al Horford joined Draymond Green on the mend, exiting the Warriors' clash vs. the Timberwolves on Friday due to calf tightness.

Golden State lost another longtime NBA veteran to injury during the game, as Al Horford experienced right calf tightness and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest, the team announced. Later in the night, the Warriors announced that Seth Curry also was ruled out for the rest of the game due to left adductor soreness.

SAN FRANCISCO — The Celtics, throughout last summer, publicly said they’d love to keep their free agent big men which included Al Horford. But Horford chose the Warriors in free agency, ending a successful second stint with the organization that included the 2024 NBA championship.

Al Horford has now been ruled out for the rest of tonight’s game with right calf tightness, per Warriors. What's working against Murray here is that for as bad as their quarterback play was, the Vikings still won nine games.
