Before the 2025 NFL draft kicked off, pundits listed running back and wide receiver as the Dallas Cowboys’ biggest needs. Considering the direction the team actually took in the draft, some might say the Cowboys neglected those spots. National draft experts don’t seem to be bothered by Dallas’ selections.

The Cowboys needed depth up front. Toia gives them a stout run defender with NFL-ready size. He may not offer much as a pass-rusher. Still, his ability to clog lanes and eat up space on early downs will be valuable. A solid, low-risk pick this late in the draft.
