Paige Bueckers' college career ended on April 6 when she led UConn past South Carolina in the national championship game to win her first NCAA title. Less than a month later, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft will take the floor for the first time as a professional.

The Wings vs. Aces game, which is a Notre Dame homecoming for Ogunbowale, will be televised on ION at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. It will become just the second WNBA preseason game ever to air on national television, following a 2019 exhibition between the New York Liberty and the China national team.

This past offseason, the Wings acquired DiJonai Carrington, a player who earned the 2024 Most Improved Player of the Year Award with the Connecticut Sun. She also finished fourth in WNBA Defensive Player of the Year voting.
