With the success of the F1 movie, it is no surprise that a sequel is already being discussed. Director Joseph Kosinski, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Apple CEO Tim Cook have all confirmed that talks about a sequel have already taken place.
“F1” offers plenty to love, including a great cast, thrilling set pieces and beautiful visuals. However, if you’re not already watching Formula 1, this film is unlikely to convert you. It’s too interested in the minutiae of the sport to bother explaining its basic appeal.
F1 sources, speaking anonymously as they were not authorised to do so publicly, told The Athletic that Rwanda is the continent’s frontrunner to host a race in the future, though noted a date is yet to be set in stone, with 2030 also mentioned as a possibility.
